Competition Rules(Please read carefully)
-
Participants must understand the physical and mental impact of the race, the risks involved, and the
physical demands required. By voluntarily entering the event, participants accept the risks and take
responsibility for ensuring their fitness condition. They must be in good health condition and capable
of completing the competition without requiring medical assistance. Participants with chronic
conditions, including but not limited to hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, asthma, or
those who have experienced unexplained chest discomfort (such as chest pain or tightness), are not
advised to participate. TAIPEI 101 will conduct a health check on race day. Participants should arrive
at the recommended check-up time announced by the organizers. After being cleared by a doctor, they will
receive a "Qualifier" pass. Participants will start in order of their bib numbers. Only those with the
"Qualifier" pass will be allowed to enter the check-in area at the starting point.
-
Participants who do not pass the initial health check will undergo a re-examination. If they still fail
to meet the required standards, the organizers will revoke their eligibility to the race based on the
doctor's advice for safety reasons. The registration fee will not be refunded, and no replacements will
be made. (Please carefully consider whether to participate before making your decision.)
-
Please wear suitable shoes and attire for the race, and refer to the announcement on the website for
your designated time slot.
-
The starting time may be adjusted based on on-site situations. Please follow the instructions of the

based on the completion time of registration and payment. However, TAIPEI 101 reserves the right to
modify the starting order of participants.
-
Timing Chip:
The 2026 CTBC.TAIPEI 101 RUN UP uses a chip timing system to record finish times, with the chip times

returned after the race. Participants are required to review the Event Manual available on the official
event website prior to race day and follow all instructions regarding the proper use of the timing chip.
On-site staff will also be available to provide assistance if needed. Results will be based solely on
the official times
published by the Organizer. Participants who fail to wear the race bib, wear it improperly, or whose
timing chip is not detected due to incorrect use or improper bib placement will not be timed and no
results will be recorded. Any such circumstances shall be the sole responsibility of the participant,
and the Organizer shall bear no liability.

issued by the event competition team. All disputes will be resolved by the review committee’s
decision. If the dispute is deemed unjustified, the deposit will be forfeited and used as part of
the TAIPEI 101 event fund.
