Participants must be at least 15 years old and under 70 years old, meaning they must have been born between May 4, 1955, and May 3, 2010.
There are no restrictions, but for safety reasons, pregnant participants must inform staff during the on-site medical examination and sign a waiver to participate.
If you have successfully registered for the Solo Challenger Group and wish to upgrade to the Elite Group, you must submit supporting document of completing either one TAIPEI 101 RUN UP (full course of 91 floors, 2046 steps), one Marathon (42.195km), or one Triathlon (51.5km) race between 2023 and 2025. Half-marathon records will not be accepted.

TAIPEI 101 RUN UP track goes from the 1st floor to the 91st floor, with a total of 2,046 steps. We welcome you to sign up and take on the challenge!
During the registration, there were multiple pop-up notice requiring the participant to confirm their choices and information provided; thus, no changes can be made, nor can a refund or adjustment of the difference be requested.
Each team requires 15-20 members. Before registration opens, team captains need to collect the following information from team members: name, phone number, ID number (passport number or ARC number), gender, date of birth, and T-shirt size for the race shirt. We encourage everyone to form a team and join the event!
For Solo Challenger Group registration, the first 1,000 participants who pay with a CTBC credit card (including debit cards) will receive a 10% discount. Payment must be completed for the registration to be considered successful.
Please don't worry. After registration closes, the event organizer will update the information and provide the official receipt numbers. The registration receipt will be sent via email by April 26, 2024. If you do not receive the electronic receipt, please visit the Chinese Taipei Road Running Association's website and search for your registration receipt number using the participant's ID number.

If you need to change your T-shirt size, please call CTRRA at 02-2585-5659 to request a change by 5:00 PM on April 7, 2025. As sizes are limited, changes cannot be made if the size is out of stock or if the request is made after the deadline.

If you are currently registered in the Solo Challenger group, you can only request a refund and re-register in a Team Challenger group. Please note that each participant is allowed to register in only one group. Duplicate registrations are strictly prohibited. Violators will be disqualified from the competition, and no refund will be provided. You will also forfeit your right to receive the race packet. Those who fail to complete their registration will not be eligible to participate, also not allowed as a companian.
If you are registered for the Solo Challenger Group, you can refer to the 'Refund Policy' to apply for a refund. For those registered in the Team Challenger Group, refund for individual member is not available, and participant names cannot be changed.
"1. If the participant is unable to pick up the race packet in person, they may authorize someone
else to do so. The
authorized person must present a valid ID of the 'participant' or 'team captain' (such as an ID
card, health insurance
card, driver's license, or passport), either the original or a copy (a digital version on a mobile
device is also
acceptable) for verification. The event organizers will not be responsible for any
misappropriation of materials.
2. To ensure participants not to lose their eligibility due to failure to pick up the race packet
before the race, on
the day of the event, a ""Race Pack Pick-up Booth"" will be set up at the venue. The participant
will have to pay the
same handling fee as delivery by using this on-site pick-up service. For further details, please

The starting order is generally based on the completion time of registration and payment. However, the event organizers reserve the right to adjust the starting order. The recommended check-in time and expected start time will be announced on the event's official website on April 29, 2025.
Participants are required to bring the self-assessment form to the physical examination area on-site, where balance tests, temperature measurements, and blood pressure checks will be conducted.
Race packs will begin to be sent out starting from April 21, 2025, to the address provided on the registration form. Please ensure that the participant's name and mailing address are correct to avoid any delivery issues. If you have not received your race pack by April 28, 2025, please contact CTRRA on April 29, 2025, during business hours (08:30-12:00, 13:30-17:30) at 02-2585-5659.

It's not mandatory, but we encourage wearing the race shirt for memories.

Due to the limited space and the nature of the racecourse, and in consideration of participant safety, taking photos or live-streaming is prohibited in the stairwells. Please refer to Article 8 of the 'Competition Rules' under "Race Information" for more details.
Due to the limited space and the nature of the racecourse, and in consideration of participant safety, carrying bottled water is prohibited to prevent items from falling. Water stations are provided along the course for runners to use.
The location is at the TAIPEI 101 Water Dance Plaza. There will be direction signs and staff to assist with directions around the event venue, including on Shifu Road and Songzhi Road.
The start time announced by the event organizers is an estimated time. The actual start time will be based on the live announcements on-site.
Other than the 1st and 91st floors, water stations are set up at various floors along the course. Please stay tune and check out the official update on the event website.
If you do not pass the on-site physical examination, you will not be allowed to participate in the event. No refund will be provided, but you may still receive a commemorative gift bag.
Finisher's gift bag must be collected by 4:00 PM on the event day. No gift bags will be distributed after this time.
Due to the limited space in the stairwells and to prevent collisions among participants, only waist packs (or fanny packs) worn securely at all times are allowed. This will be subjected to the judges and event staff. Please refer to Article 8 of the 'Competition Rules' under "Race Information" for more details.

If the event is unable to proceed due to force majeure, the organizers reserve the right to
cancel or reschedule the event with the safety of participants as a priority. Participants will
have no objection. Please refer to the 'Refund or Rescheduling Policy' under "Race Information"
for details.
Any related announcements will be made before the event on the official Facebook page and the
event website under "Latest News".
The organizers reserve the final right to interpret and make adjustments to the event content and
terms. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Before registering, please carefully assess the impact of the race on your physical and mental condition. Once registration is completed for any category, no changes can be made to the participant’s name or race category are allowed, and the race entry cannot be transferred. For those registered in the group category, note that individual refunds are not available.
