Participants must be at least 15 years old and under 70 years old, meaning they must have been born between May 10, 1956, and May 9, 2011.
There are no restrictions, but for safety reasons, pregnant participants must inform staff during the on-site medical examination and sign a waiver to participate.
If you have successfully registered for the Solo Challenger Group and wish to upgrade to the Elite Group, you must submit supporting document of completing either one TAIPEI 101 RUN UP (full course of 91 floors), one Marathon (42.195km), or one Triathlon (51.5km) race between 2024 and 2026. Half-marathon records will not be accepted.

TAIPEI 101 RUN UP track goes from the 1st floor to the 88st floor, We welcome you to sign up and take on the challenge!
During the registration process, participants were required to review and confirm their selections and submitted information through multiple pop-up notices. Therefore, once registration is completed, no changes may be made, and requests for refunds or price adjustments will not be accepted.
Each team requires 15-20 members. Before registration opens, team captains need to collect the following information from team members: name, phone number, ID number (passport number or ARC number), gender, date of birth, and T-shirt size for the race shirt. We encourage everyone to form a team and join the event!
For Solo Challenger Group registration, the first 1,000 participants who pay with a CTBC credit card (including debit cards) will receive a 10% discount. Payment must be completed for the registration to be considered successful.
Registration fee for Team Challenger is NT$36,000, can only be paid by credit card, and is not eligible for the CTBC cards discount.
Don't worry, after registration closes, the event organizer will update the information and provide the official receipt numbers. The registration receipt will be sent via email by April 30, 2026. If you do not receive the electronic receipt, please visit the Chinese Taipei Road Running Association's website and search for your registration receipt number using the participant's ID number.

If you need to change your T-shirt size, please email your request to service@sportsnet.org.tw by
5:00 PM on March 26,
2026. As sizes are limited, changes cannot be made if the size is out of stock or if the request

If you are currently registered in the Solo Challenger Group, you can only request a refund and re-register in a Team Challenger Group. Please note that each participant is allowed to register in only one group. Duplicate registrations are strictly prohibited. Violators will be disqualified from the competition, and no refund will be provided. You will also forfeit your right to receive the race packet. Those who fail to complete their registration will not be eligible to participate, also not allowed as a companian.
If you are registered for the Solo Challenger Group, you can refer to the 'Refund Policy' to apply for a refund. For those registered in the Team Challenger Group, refunds for individual members are not available, and participant names cannot be changed.
1. If a participant is unable to collect the race packet in person, an authorized representative
may do so on their
behalf. At the time of collection, the representative must present valid identification for both
the representative and
the participant or team leader for verification. Acceptable forms of identification are limited to
an ID card, National
Health Insurance card, driver's license, or passport, in either original or photocopy form.
Digital copies displayed on
a mobile device are also accepted. The authorized representative must sign in block letters and
provide a contact phone
number. To protect participants' rights and interests, please ensure that all information provided
is accurate. The
Organizer shall not be held responsible for any incidents arising from impersonation or
unauthorized collection.
2. To accommodate overseas participants and those who selected in-person pickup before race day
but were unable to
collect their packets on time, race packet pickup will also be available on race day for an
additional charge. Please
visit the “Race Packet Pick Up” area for collection. An extra fee will be charged based on the
postal fee outlined on
Race Information section.

Start order is generally determined based on the time of successful registration and payment, and is assigned according to bib numbers. However, the organizer reserves the right to adjust the start order if necessary. The recommended health check-in time and estimated start time will be announced on the official event website on May 5, 2026 (subject to final confirmation).
The designs of this year's race shirt and medal have not yet been released. Please stay tuned for announcements on the official Facebook fan page.

Participants are required to bring the self-assessment form to the physical examination area on-site, where balance tests, temperature measurements, and blood pressure checks will be conducted.
Race packs will begin to be sent out starting from April 27, 2026, to the address provided on the registration form. Please ensure that the participant's name and mailing address are correct to avoid any delivery issues. If you have not received your race pack by May 4, 2026, please contact CTRRA on May 5, 2026, during business hours (8:30 AM–12:00 PM and 1:30 PM–5:30 PM) at 02-2585-5659.

It's not mandatory, but we encourage wearing the race shirt for memories.

Due to the limited space and the nature of the racecourse, and in consideration of participants' safety, taking photos or live-streaming is prohibited in the stairwells. Please refer to Article 11 of the 'Important Notice' under "Race Information" for more details.
Due to the limited space and the nature of the racecourse, and in consideration of participants' safety, carrying bottled water is prohibited in order to prevent items from falling. Water stations are provided along the course for runners to use.
Due to the limited space in the stairwells and to prevent collisions among participants, only waist packs or belt bags worn securely at all times are allowed. This will be subjected to the judges and event staff. Please refer to Article 8 of the 'Competition Rules' under "Race Information" for more details.
Towel/handkerchief may be hung around the neck or stored in a pocket, and should be used only when wiping sweat. After use, items must be properly stored;Participants may wear hats or head coverings at their discretion.
Both the healthl check area and bag storage area are located at the TAIPEI 101 Fountain Plaza. Directional signage will be provided, and on-site staff will be available to assist participants around the event venue, including along Shifu Road and Songzhi Road.
The start time announced by the event organizers is an estimated time. The actual start time will be based on the live announcements on-site.
If you do not pass the on-site physical examination, you will not be allowed to participate in the event. No refund will be provided, but you may still receive a commemorative gift bag.
Finisher's gift bag must be collected by 4:00 PM on the event day. No gift bags will be distributed after this time.
Please take a photo for record and contact CTRRA at 02-2585-5659, where you will be assisted with the follow-up process, before May 4, 2026.
If the event is unable to proceed due to force majeure, the organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event with the safety of participants as a priority. Participants will have no objection. Please refer to the 'Refund or Rescheduling Policy' under "Race Information" for details. Any related announcements will be made before the event on the official Facebook page and the event website under "Latest News". The organizers reserve the final right to interpret and make adjustments to the event content and terms. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Before registering, please carefully assess the impact of the race on your physical and mental condition. Once registration is completed for any category, no changes can be made to the participant's name or race category are allowed, and the race entry cannot be transferred. For those registered in the group category, note that individual refunds are not available.
The finisher certificate will be available for download starting May 10, 2026.
Participants may visit the official event website to check their results and download the
electronic certificate.
