Prizes and Awards
For R.O.C.(Taiwan) citizen, any prize amounting to NT$1,000 or more must be declared for income taxes. If the amount of cash awarded to an individual exceeds NTD$20,001, 10% tax will be deducted from winners. For winners who are non-citizens of R.O.C. (Taiwan), 20% withholding tax will be deducted. (with proof of passport or ID photocopy)
