Remark


  1. Participating Runners or Teams invited by the organizers shall be given priority in the starting order.
  2. The organizers reserve the right to adjust the starting order and number of entrants as may be needed.
  3. Please be prepared to arrive the venue within the time frame stipulated in the race bulletin. Participating teams and runners who have not started before the end of the clearance period will not be permitted to depart and will be forfeited from the race. For instance, if an individual runner does not report to start prior to the stipulated clearance time, the individual runner will then be forfeited from the race.
  4. The successful applicants of “Self-challenge” who also want to enroll in the “Elite” race category, are required to fulfill the qualifications below:
    (1) Provide at least one of the following record certifications which conducted during 2017 to 2019. Only the selected runners can be participated in the “Elite” race after the review from the organizers; otherwise they will remain in the “Self-challenge” category if failed to pass the reference check.

Qualifications Age Restrictions:

  1. Individuals aged 15-69 (born between 1950 to 2004) are eligible to participate in the race event.
  2. Individuals over 15 years old and under 18 years old (born between 2001 to 2004) are required to provide the “Acknowledgement and Authorization Declaration Form” (the form) with his/her legal agent or guardian’s signature after completing the registration and payment. Please submit the Form by mail to P.O. Box 47-110, Taipei 103, Taiwan and attn to: “2019 CTBC‧TAIPEI 101 Run Up Team” or email to service@sportsnet.org.tw. Individuals shall not be allowed to participate in the race if the declaration form cannot be provided on time.
  3. Elite:
    Runners invited by the Organizers or met the “A” Qualifying Standards conducted during 2017-2019. Those individuals who attained the “A” Qualifying Standards are required to mail the certification copies to P.O. Box 47-110, Taipei 103 Taiwan by post or email to service@sportsnet.org.tw prior to April 8 2019, please indicate name of the registrant along with the title “2019 CTBC‧TAIPEI 101 Run Up” on the envelop or in the email subject. The organizers will review and select the entries to the Elite race.
  4. Self-challenge:
    Those who meet the criteria for age and health restrictions (please refer to Regulations Rule 1) will be eligible for registration.
  5. Corporate Team:
    ● Open to all corporate or organizations and each team is formed by 20 members. Number of teams is limited to 30 with eligibility according to entry order; The corporate/organization/school arranged or invited by the organizer is not subject to this limit.
    ● The top three winning teams should provide the proofs to verify that all of the team’s participating members belong to the respective team organization; otherwise, the team will be disqualified from the race and the next fastest team will receive the award.

Special Notice

  1. All persons may only participate in one race category (Elite, Self-challenge, and Corporate Team). If it has been confirmed that a person has registered or participated in more than one type of categories, the person shall be withdrawn from the race and not be entitled to a refund. The person shall also be withdrawn the right to pick up the race pack.

  2. If it has been confirmed that a person has used banned substances (as listed by the World Anti-Doping Agency [WADA]), or impersonation, or is responsible for any type of fraudulent activity while participating in the race, the person and/or the person of the whole team will be withdrawn from the race (with no ranking nor result) and be subject to further investigation and legal consequences where applicable. No refund will be granted to the disqualified runners or teams.
